CDC Shows A Massive 83% Of People Hospitalized For COVID-19 Are Black Americans

New findings out Wednesday back up other national data showing that black communities in the US have been hardest hit by the novel coronavirus.

According to Business Insider, black people account for 32% of Georgia's population.

But a CDC report says 83% of people in Georgia hospitalized with COVID-19 during March were black.

It is critical that public-health officials ensure that prevention activities prioritize communities and racial groups most affected by COVID-19.
