If you've ever thought that one person can't make a difference...meet nineteen year old kenzie higgins.

The college freshman is doing just that at her norwell home.

So she started putting together care packages.

Kenzie 1:22 lots of broll i just wanted to give materials and pampering items....and snack items...to just make them feel more appreciated..and make their day just a little bit easier...and a little more feeling....loved i guess.

Lauren brings them to m-g-h.

Lauren 8:54 much broll sometimes it's chocolate...somet imes it's an energy bar....sometimes it's personal care products..lotions , chapstick...stuff like that.

And whatever's been donated has been so well appreciated.

Kenzie 4:30 broll loading boxes i've heard the baskets are emptying so fast..which makes me feel like i'm actually helping.

This school year ended in a way no one expected - at home.

Well, a principal outside dallas decided to gas up his car-- and do something nice for his seniors.

Every one of them.

Mireya villarreal with this final class act.

Having to social distance during your senior year can be traumatic.

So... when principal virdie montgomery was forced to close wylie high school's doors... he knew he had to find a way to stay connected.

Vm: i said if they cant come to me, i'll just go to them mv: did you really think, i can get to all 612?

Vm: well when i told my wife what i was gonna do, // she gave me that look that i'm familiar with... mv: the you're crazy look?

Vm: you're crazy.

I cant, you're not gonna do this.

// 12 days... and nearly 800 miles later... virdie and his wife have visited almost every seniors' house, including lauren gurlie's... mv: how'd that make you feel?

Lg: i cried.

Mv: why?

Lg: it's good to know that somebody cares about you.

He gave each senior a card and some candy before taking a selfie.

Mv: what was the hope that you would get out of that?

Vm: pretty selfish because i told them from the get- go, this is really not for y'all.

Y'all are handling this fine // i just want to see you and i just want you to know i care about you.// mv: this matters.

Vm: this matters a lot.

It does his visit was brief... but his message lingered.

Lg: giving people a sense of hope, letting them know that they're not alone.

These visits were proof... that despite the distance... people still care enough to stay connected.

For a few minutes today.... it looked like goats were invading one northern california neighborhood.

A local homeowner's association brings in goats now and then to eat dead grass on the hillside.

But the goats managed to knock over an electric fence and take a leisurely stroll through the streets.

Neighbors had to open up a side gate and lead the goats back where they were supposed to be.

Nobody was hurt...but there was some minor damage in
