OSTRICH NAMED ETHEL TAKING DUST BATH STORY: A seven-year-old female ostrich Ethel had a dust bath at Reid Park Zoo on Thursday (May 14) in Tucson, Arizona, United States.
Many birds bathe this way as getting dust in between their feathers helps absorb excess oils and is an important part of bird grooming, the Zoo informed on their social media.
Like many ostriches, Ethel enjoys dust baths, leafy greens, and being close by to her mate, Eiffel (Production: Pola Grzanka)
