Disgruntled Employee Guns Down Coworkers At French Office Meeting

A run-of-the-mill business meeting in western France turned deadly on Wednesday.

According to Newser, police say a man walked into the meeting and opened fire with a handgun.

The man killed three people and injured a fourth at the quarry company near the town of Saint-Varent.

Some thirty officers are now at the scene, but details are thin on the ground.

A representative for the police said the shooter was on a work leave and apparently had been declared unfit to resume working.
