Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced the reopening dates for several entities Thursday and also announced the extension of the shelter-in-place order for the elderly and medically fragile.

Our top story tonight at 6: governor kemp announced his lastest executive order addressing summer camps, bars and sports.

Starting may 31st, georgia will allow overnight summer camps.

Starting june first, you can have gatherings of 25 people in a single location as long as there is social distancing.

This allows for small weddings and recreational sports.

Bars and night clubs can reopen on june first if they comply with set guidelines and limit the number of people inside.

Banquet halls and event spaces can also reopen and will now fall under restaurant and dine-in services guidelines to provide clarity.

And pro sports can also operate practices under set guidelines starting june first.
