Videos shared on social media show people gathering outside a Macy's department store and then appearing to cheer.

In another video, one of the boards is seen pulled off the store's entrance.

People are also spotted entering a Sephora store, and running from a Foot Locker.

One of the users that shared video with Reuters said the looting began after a march ended around 7:30 p.m.

EST (1130 GMT).

Anti-police brutality marches and rallies, which have turned violent after dark each night over the last week, have erupted over the death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old African American who died in Minneapolis police custody after being pinned beneath a white officer's knee for nearly nine minutes.
