People in Scottsboro held a prayer walk in response to the killing of George Floyd.

This evening, people in scottsboro held a prayer walk--in response to the killing of george floyd.

The walk started at the scottsboro boys museum and cultural center at 6 p-m and ended at the jackson county courthouse.

People gathered at the museum to pray and sing together.

Once everyone arrived at the courthouse, leaders in the community, including the scottsboro chief of police spoke to the crowd.

Scottsboro residents say it's important for people of all ages to join walks and marches, like this one.
