Refugees fleeing Boko Haram speak out at camp in central Nigeria

As the world marks this year's Refugee Day, Nigerians who are displaced from their community due to invasion of Boko Haram cried for help as they say they have been neglected.

Many interviewed come from Bama, in Borno state, Nigeria.

A 79-year-old blind woman lamented how she has been living away from home for over ten years.

Women in the refugee camp survive on sales of firewood to the communities around the camp.

As coronavirus increases in Nigeria, most of the volunteer workers find it difficult to support the people in refugee camp, while the government has not provided palliative care to support them.

The environment is hazardous as there are no drainages and sewages system.
