The amount is thanks to the success of his TV shows such as Fresh Meat and Bad Education and he is reported to have assets worth £7,416,109, his latest accounts reveal, with the fortune including £405,811 in cash.
Whitehall's wealth is double previous estimates and now makes him one of the richest comedians in the UK.
The 'Travels With My Father' star has appointed his father Michael and his mother Hilary as directors of the company.
