Ringo Starr Reuniting With Paul McCartney for Birthday Charity Show In honor of his 80th birthday, Ringo Starr announced his plan to host a charity concert event.

The four charities that will benefit from the event are Black Lives Matter Global Network, The David Lynch Foundation, MusiCares and WaterAid.

According to Starr, the “big birthday” celebration will be held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The show will include a number of at-home performances and unearthed concert footage from artists such as Paul McCartney, Sheryl Crow and Gary Clark Jr. A guest-filled version of Starr’s 2017 song, “Give More Love,” will also debut during the virtual event.

Artists such as Jackson Browne, Jeff Bridges and Willie Nelson will make an appearance on the track.

In addition, Starr intends to debut a series of tribute performances on his YouTube channel, featuring artists including Peter Frampton and Judy Collins.
