Trine University making plans to continue fall sports as scheduled

Despite the MIAA postponing fall sports, Trine plans to continue their fall seasons as scheduled.

Moving up to the collegiate level...earlier today the michigan intercollegiate athletic association announced they are postponing all fall 2020 conference championships and tournaments...that means no football, soccer, golf, cross country or volleyball... the m-i-a-a did not say when they'll be postponed until..

But did say they plan to develop schedules for the sports later in the academic year...however..

Trine has said they do plan on continuing their plans to participate in fall sports as planned...according to a release, there will be extensive measures taken to keep athletes safe...head football coach troy abbs says it's disappointing there will be no conference season, but is excited to play some sort of a schedule..
