New Hampshire Legalizes 'Flying Cars' on the Road On July 28, New Hampshire Gov.

Chris Sununu signed NH HB1517, a.k.a.

The "Jetson Bill" or "Jetson Law." Under the new law, "flying cars" will be allowed on public roads as long as their wings and rotors are retracted, allowing the vehicle to be driven like a car.

Public roads will only be used as runways in emergencies.
