- Hey, what's up, GQ Sports? This is Miles Bridges, and this is "Reel Talent."[upbeat music]First up we have Carter, who's number three.Carter, driving to the basket. He's doing a good job pacinghimself, using his body, and getting to the rim.He coulda used his left hand, but that was still a good layup. It should've been anand one, in my opinion. He did a good job stayingaway from the sidelineand just staying inthe middle of the courtso he could give himself options. That's the same thing I woulda did.And his pace was really good.He didn't go too fast or too slow.He went at the right pace justto get to his spots on the court. And that was pretty good for me.On the second part, we haveCarter playing defense.Okay.

So I see he's playingthe middle of the zone.I used to hate playingagainst zones in high schoolbecause I never knew how to figure it outwithout good coaching. And I was always in the middle too,so I had to make the right plays. He made a pass just to shift the defenseand then he went back to the middle.Gave him a good up fake.Yeah, that's good footwork.I mean, I don't even think I hadthat type of footwork asa junior in high schoolbecause I could just jump over everybody. You could tell that hewatched a little bit of Kobefrom that move because that's the movethat Kobe Bryant used all the time, especially when he's goingagainst taller defenders. And he tried to pump fake them, and just get them off the groundjust so he could get to the basket easier. He did a great job of shifting the defenseby passing it first. It was him showing theball to the defenderand getting back to his right hand. That's good for a junior.
