The Locker Room Game of the Week Preview: Leo vs. East Noble

Good hey good evening everyone..3 well week five of the high school football season is now upon us..and for the second straight week, the game we'll be leading the locker room with tomorrow night features a pair of premier programs out of the northeast eight conference... it's 4-a #7 east noble traveling to take on #13 leo in our game of the week...with more on the matchup, here's petar hood... )prince, these two teams have been the cream of the crop in the ne8 over the last two years and it looks like that could be the case again this season.

Of course east noble is the two-time defending conference champ.

Meanwhile, leo only two losses last season came at the hands of the knights..)not only did east noble roll the lions in the regular season, they also knocked them out of the state tournament with a 14-7 win in their sectional championship game..of course both the lions and knights saw several guys graduate from key spots, so these teams are different than the ones that lined up against one another in 2019..but at the same time, leo's players say they haven't forgotten about what happened last season...landen livingston: "obviously this is a game we look foward to every single year.

We can't wait.

I've had this one circled on my calendar for a long time.

We all want to get revenge on them."kaeden miller: "considering the two losses last year, the 35-7 and 14-7, this game is very personal for us.

We feel like we definitely have something to prove to everybody in the state."jared sauder: "they know how important this game is to our goals and we want to accomplish.

That's where they have put their effort into, and that's why this game is big for us, not so much last year, but what it means to this year, this senior class and this team."luke amstutz: "we have a lot of kids that have had a lot of success, but we know a big measuring stick of that success is how we play in this game.

Since this conference was re-formed, us and leo have kind of been the big dogs a little bit.

Whether or not that's the case this year, we'll find out, but these guys are going to be ready to go.

We're going to go over there and compete."chris hood: "i always look forward to it as a team.

It's good competition.

It's one of the better teams in our conference, so i think if we play them, that helps us for the postseason."cole schupbach: "this a huge game.

I mean, leo looks to be... it's us and leo as one and two, clear favorites.

Leo beat new haven last week.

It comes down to this game.
