Confirmed tonight - girls swimming and diving for section three schools in our area have been moved from the fall to the fall sports season two in march.
There are seven schools in our area with girls swimming and diving - r-f-a - proctor - whitesboro - adirondack - cooperstown - holland patent - west canada valley and new hartford.
Adirondack and cooperstown had already made the decision to delay or cancel all fall sports.
Swimming and diving is listed as a low- risk sport by the state department of health and was due to start on monday - but will now begin on march first with other high risk sports such as football and competitive cheer.
