The middle georgia community food bank is now the proud owner of a 26-foot refrigerated box truck, thanks to a donation from the perdue foundation.

The perdue foundation is apart of perdue farms in perry.

It's giving to food banks across the country this year as part of its 100th anniversary celebration.

They say it's important to help the local community.
