A four-year-old boy who fell into a borewell in Uttar Pradesh died on Thursday.
The incident took place in Budhaura village of Mahoba district.
Dhanendra had fallen into the borewell at around 2:30 pm on Wednesday when he was playing.
Police said that the toddler's parents were irrigating the field at the time of the incident.
Mahoba DM said that the child was taken out from the borewell after an 18-hour rescue operation.
He added that the kid was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
