'No bilateral treaty exists...': Pakistan on India's request for Hafiz Saeed's extradition

Pakistan said that they received India's request for the extradition of 26/11 attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed, but no bilateral extradition treaty exists between the two countries. Saeed, the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba and mastermind of the 26/11 attacks, is wanted in India for numerous cases. He is currently in jail in Pakistan on terrorism financing charges. In a controversial move, the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League, a political entity of Hafiz Saeed, has fielded candidates for all national and provincial assembly constituencies in the upcoming general elections.
