Sudan: Chair Cardin Urges U.S., Partners to Push for Immediate Humanitarian Assistance to Sudan

[United States Senate] Washington, DC -- Today, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, delivered a speech on the Senate floor marking one year since the onset of civil war in Sudan, and calling on the United States and our international partners to ramp up humanitarian assistance for war-affected Sudanese and for impacted populations in surrounding countries.
