NASA finds water on moon's sunlit surface

The discovery of water on the moon's sunlit surface by NASA's Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) came as a surprise, a NASA scientist said and has prompted questions about the history of the moon as well as other airless bodies in the solar system.
