East Bay robotics company grabs $45M for digitizing automotive industry

Ripcord, a robotics digitization company that wants to rid the world of paper, snagged $45 million in an extended series B round on Tuesday. The money will be aimed at making the automotive industry paperless. The funding was led by CDK Global, a provider of technology to the automotive industry.
