More than 190,000 people across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware filed for unemployment compensation last week. An estimated 96,603 Pennsylvanians filed initial claims of unemployment within the last week, a decrease of nearly 31,000 claims or 24% from the previous week's revised number of nearly 127,000 claims, according to the latest report from the U.S. Department of Labor.
