Gap sued for failure to pay rent

The biggest mall operator in the country is going after its biggest non-anchor tenant for failure to pay rent. Simon Property Group (SPG: NYSE) is suing San Francisco-based Gap Inc. over $65.9 million in rent and other charges due, The Real Deal has reported.
