North Carolina bars see another chance to reopen with latest bill

The North Carolina Bar and Tavern Association was hit with a blow on June 5 when Gov. Roy Cooper decided to veto a bill that would've allowed private bars around the state to reopen to the public. But now, another bill meant to allow gyms to reopen has been updated to include bars. And the bill would allow Cooper to reimpose restrictions if necessary.
