Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN) has been granted back-to-back trading halts by the ASX with a capital raising announcement pending. Securities will be in a trading halt until the beginning of trade on Tuesday, June 16, or when an announcement is released to the market, whichever occurs earliest. In its application for the halts, the company also requested the grant of class waivers pursuant to Listing Rule 18.1, as announced by the ASX on March 31. Paradox infrastructure development The company is progressing applications and negotiations for the use of supporting infrastructure and utilities for the proposed 15,000 tonnes per annum sodium bromide (NaBr) plant to process brine from the Paradox Brine Project in Utah, USA. Anson plans to build a production facility at a site 46 kilometres from the extraction wells to take advantage of the utility and other infrastructure already in place to reduce capital costs. The applications include seeking access to power, natural gas, pipeline Rights of Ways (RoW) and extensions as well as road access.
