Report: GrubHub nears deal to be acquired by Just Eat Takeway.com

GrubHub Inc. is close to being acquired by Just Eat Takeway.com of The Netherlands. The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that the Dutch company was nearing completion of an all-stock deal to acquire the Chicago-based restaurant delivery company (NYSE: GRUB). If the deal goes through, it would scrub an earlier deal that was making the rounds last month that Uber Technologies Inc. was interested in acquiring GrubHub.
