Milwaukee will see a fraction of the $200 million economic impact that was expected from hosting the Democratic National Convention now that the event has been scaled back. The Democratic National Convention Committee announced Wednesday evening that the August event will be “anchored” in Milwaukee, but much of the activity will take place virtually.
