Alia thanks the Academy for the invitation

Alia Bhatt was recently invited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to be a member, and once she accepts, the actress would have voting rights for the next Oscars. Appreciating the gesture, Alia shared a note on Instagram, “I thank the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for inviting me to be a member of the Academy. I feel at one honoured and humbled.”
