Keeley Forsyth's 'Photograph' Is A Staggering Return

It's the title song of her new EP...

*Keeley Forsyth* will release her new EP 'Photograph' on November 20th.

The songwriter's outstanding, intensely moving album 'Debris' was released earlier this year, an extraordinary project in its own right.

Continually creative, Keeley Forsyth has now detailed plans for a new EP, which lands later this year.

Out on November 20th, 'Photograph' EP seemingly frames her exquisite voice in otherworldly synthesisers, recorded at home.

"I always work from home," she says. "This time, the isolation had a new influence on my lyrical ideas. I was contemplating the idea of homesickness within the home; when life is lived on the domestic grid, in rooms and in tasks. I was looking to reframe the day, to give sound to the picture."

Composer Matthew Bourne aids the absorbing title track, which comes equipped with visuals built alongside Trestle Records’ Ross Downes.

Keely Forsyth explains: "Ross and I worked closely on the video. We discussed the absurdism of Samuel Beckett, Eugène Ionescu and Antonin Artaud and the movements of the Tanztheater tradition, all of which has influenced the music I’ve been writing. We were working towards a place where archetypes, expectations and behaviour are unclear - a woman feeds her family with soil while digging her grave".
