Rajkummar shows off inked finger after voting

Voting in the fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is underway across 49 constituencies, spanning six states and two Union Territories, including key seats like Rae Bareli and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh and six seats in Maharashtra. Numerous Bollywood celebrities have urged citizens to vote, with Rajkummar Rao, Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Kunal Kohli among the early voters. Janhvi Kapoor, dressed in an elegant pink salwar suit, proudly displayed her inked finger for the cameras, accompanied by a police escort. Farhan Akhtar, along with his sister Zoya and their mother, cast their votes and posed for pictures. Akhtar emphasized voting for good governance, while Akshay Kumar expressed his desire for a developed and strong India. Rajkummar Rao highlighted the responsibility of voting, stating, "If people can get influenced through us, that’s the biggest thing we can do to raise awareness about voting."
