India reports 83,876 new Covid cases, 895 deaths in last 24 hours

India reported 83,876 new coronavirus cases, pushing the total tally of Covid-19 infections to 4,22,72,014, while the active cases further declined to 11,08,938, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday. The death toll climbed to 5,02,874 with 895 fresh fatalities, the data updated at 8am stated.
