Family members to get over Rs 1 crore if Agniveer loses life in line of duty: Govt sources

The next of kin of Agniveers who die in the line of duty will receive over Rs 1 crore from the Indian government. This includes non-contributory insurance, ex-gratia, contributions from the Agniveer and the government, pay for the remaining tenure, and a contribution from the Armed Forces Battle Casualty Fund.
