Rajasthan polls: Former Haryana Congress chief Ashok Tanwar, several leaders join BJP

Former Congress minister Ram Gopal Bairwa and former MLA Ashok Tanwar, along with several other leaders, have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan. The leaders were welcomed by Rajasthan BJP President CP Joshi and Member of Lok Sabha Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. Tanwar, who had previously quit Congress and launched his own party, has been on a party-hopping spree. The Rajasthan Assembly elections are scheduled for November 25, with the counting taking place on December 3.
