Four killed, 50 injured in Cochin University stampede

Four students, including two women, died in a stampede during a fest at Kerala's Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) triggered by rain as waiting throngs rushed into an auditorium where singer Nikhita Gandhi was performing. Lack of multiple exits worsened the crush. The victims were rushed to hospitals, with four in critical condition. The incident occurred on the concluding day of the Dhishna fest, drawing students from tech colleges across the state.
