The staged death was meant to raise awareness about cervical cancer, but it received backlash for being distasteful and disrespectful. Faking death can lead to legal consequences, including imprisonment and fines, as well as civil liabilities for emotional distress and financial losses. Within 24 hours, another post was made on social media from the 'late' actor's profile and this time it was the actor herself in the video where she said that the fake death was staged to create awareness around cervical cancer.
