At approximately 2.30pm on Wednesday 25^th November 2020, Emergency Services were notified of a road traffic collision involving a red Peugeot motor vehicle and a cyclist on Trenoweth Lane, Mabe Burnthouse near Penryn.

The driver, a 23 year old female, was uninjured and the cyclist, a 73 year old male, sustained serious injuries. The cyclist was transported to the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske where he currently remains receiving treatment for his injuries


Officers from the Alliance’s Roads Policing Team attended the scene and commenced an investigation of the scene with officers working to establish the cause of this collision.


Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision.  Please telephone 101 quoting Log 416 of 25^th November 2020
