Operation Tramline: Patrolling the Motorways in a Truck

West Yorkshire Police officers will be taking to the roads in a lorry this week as part of a patrolling operation to keep our motorways safe.

From today (7/5) to Friday (10/5), Roads Policing Unit officers will be using a heavy goods vehicle as part of their patrols across the entire West Yorkshire motorway network.

Known as Operation Tramline, the lorry provides an ideal vantage point for officers to keep an eye on driver behaviour.
