ERLANGER, Ky., Aug. 30, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- StandUp Wireless has announced a $100,000 donation and partnership with DAV (Disabled American Veterans), an organization dedicated to empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity.

Based in Newport, Kentucky, StandUp Wireless provides prepaid and Lifeline wireless services across the U.S. Lifeline is a government benefit program that provides discounts on monthly telephone service for eligible low-income subscribers. Veterans on government assistance programs, such as SNAP, SSI, Federal Public Housing Assistance, or the Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit, can receive a free smartphone and monthly service.
