Tale of two counties: Joy in Suffolk, sadness in Nassau at high school sports decisions

Nassau will not play sports in the fall and play three compressed seasons in 2021, while Suffolk remains on the state-wide plan to have lower-risk sports practice and play beginning Sept. 21.
