Olympia braces for multiple May Day events amid COVID-19 pandemic

At the same time that Governor Jay Inslee plans to lay out his plan for reopening the state, demonstrators will caravan Friday to the Capitol for May Day.

It’s happening as frustrations come to a head in other states, such as Michigan, where hundreds of people stormed the capitol building Thursday to protest their state's stay at home order. Some of them were armed and few practiced social distancing.
