Seattle City Council pushes back on Durkan, Best claims about defunding SPD

Members of the Seattle City Council discussed their plan to cut the Seattle Police Department's budget in a press conference on Thursday and fired back at criticism from Mayor Jenny Durkan and Chief Carmen Best that the council has been "irresponsible" for committing to 50% cuts.
