ABC Scores 6 Million Viewers With Commercial-Free ‘Black Panther’ Airing in Honor of Chadwick Boseman

ABC was Sunday’s highest-rated and most-watched broadcast network thanks to a special commercial-free airing of “Black Panther” Sunday, in honor of the passing of star Chadwick Boseman. Following the Marvel movie, ABC News’ “Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute for a King” put up 4.724 million viewers.

ABC was first in ratings with a 1.2 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.6 million, according to preliminary numbers.
