FDA weighs emergency-use authorization for Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine

A key Food and Drug Administration panel of experts is expected to vote on whether they believe Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine is safe for emergency use in the U.S. The meeting comes a day after the country recorded its single deadliest day since the pandemic began.
