U.S. Senators Complain Of Slowed Sanctions On North Korea

Two senior U.S. senators criticized the Trump administration on Monday for slowing the pace of sanctions on North Korea.

Reuters reports Republican Cory Gardner and Democrat Ed Markey called for a recommitment to strong sanctions on North Korea in a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

In the letter, the senators said the pace of sanctions had “slowed considerably” in the past year.
