Texas Teen Runs 100m in Less Than 10 Seconds, Beating Fastest High School Time

A Texas high school senior ran the fastest open high school 100-meter time under all conditions in Webster, Texas, on April 27, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Matthew Boling ran the 100 meter dash in 9.98 seconds.

However, wind conditions on the day of race prevent it from counting as an official record, according to local reports.

The teenager, nicknamed β€˜White Lightning,’ now has his sights set on competing in the Olympics, according to CBS.
