Google's CEO Takes Not So Subtle Hit At Apple

Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote an op-ed for Tuesday's edition of the NY TImes.

In it, Pichai said "privacy cannot be a luxury good." Business Insider viewed the remark as a subtle jab at Apple, which has a reputation for being a luxury brand.

Apple has been increasingly vocal about its commitment to privacy in recent months.

Also Tuesday, Google announced new privacy features for its products.
