Trump Says Any U.S. War With Iran Would Not Last Long

According to Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday said that any war between the United States and Iran would be swift, although he reiterated his desire to avoid a military confrontation even as he blasted Tehran’s leaders.

Trump told Fox, “I hope we don’t, but we’re in a very strong position if something should happen." Tensions between the two countries have escalated in recent weeks after Washington blamed Tehran for attacks on two oil tankers.
