US Democratic Presidential Candidates Criticize Trump's Meeting With Kim Jung Un

President Donald Trump recently met with North Korean leader Kim Jung Un.

According to Reuters, he is the first U.S. president to speak with Jung Un in the Demilitarized Zone.

Yet 2020 Democratic presidential candidates criticized Trump, saying his meeting lack substance.

Sen.

Elizabeth Warren said: “Our President shouldn’t be squandering American influence on photo ops.” Candidate Julian Castro said that meeting with Jung Un with no purpose raises the profile of a dictator.
