CVS Says No More Open Carry Inside Store

CVS is banning customers from openly carrying firearms in its stores.

The drug store chain's announcement comes on the heels of that of its rival, Walgreens.

Both decisions are due to the ripple effect that Walmart's open-carry policy change appears to have set off.

The trend of retailers asking customers to forego open carry has attracted heat from right wing commentators.

However, a recent poll from consumer research firm CivicScience indicates nothing but good.
