27, Jelani Maraj was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison following a 2017 child rape conviction.
According to 'New York Daily News,' Maraj was accused of molesting his former step daughter — who was only 11 years old at the time of the alleged attacks — in 2015.
He was found guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child in November 2017.
Maraj's defense team argued that his former wife filed the charges against him as a means of extorting $25 million from his famous sister.
